Make Your Life Extraordinary!
Joe Camp is a passionate and inspirational speaker. His down home manner, infectious wit, and passionate delivery inspire adventures into uncharted waters and personal achievement beyond the odds.
Joe believes that the human spirit can still rise above the doom and gloom into which it seems so often born. The unknown, the uncelebrated can still mount a white horse, charge off into the distance and accomplish things worthwhile. Motivation is the key.
Joe’s presentations are full of promise for all who battle the odds for things held dear and, perhaps, surrender too quickly to those indolent, oft-spoken assurances: You can’t do that! That’s impossible! Give up! Quit! Sit down! Shut up! Go away!
Joe talks about personal success in terms that he thoroughly understands, because he’s been there and done that. He speaks of what he knows, sharing his own life experiences guiding Benji to international success with no help whatsoever from Hollywood. Every expert said it couldn’t be done. Then, as a complete novice in the equine world, he wrote The Soul of a Horse – Life Lessons from the Herd, a National Bestseller in its 17th printing and a book his publisher, Random House, already considers a classic.
Joe speaks to families, churches, college students, corporations, civic and philanthropic organizations, pet adoption organizations, and equine groups, inspiring everyone within earshot to reach beyond any conceived perception of his or her limitations, and he spells out the choices that will create success. His talks are an elixir for the human spirit, proof that the unknown, the uncelebrated can still accomplish things worthwhile, against the odds, and leave the world a better place for the effort.
Movies That Last
Joe loves talking to film students and giving them the emotional ammunition they need to not only go out there and make movies, but to go out there and make movies that people love and movies that last. Forty years after their premieres the original Benji and several of Joe’s other films are still on the shelves earning. That in itself is pretty remarkable but in early 2018 a completely remastered widescreen HD version of the original Benji will be released on DVD, Blue Ray and streaming. Later in the year a remastered For the Love of Benji was released. This is the first time, for both of these films, that you can see them in full wide screen and HD, just as they were originally seen in theaters. In 2019 Benji Off the Leash will be re-released in wide screen and HD.
The Soul of Your Horse
Joe has a unique, often humorous way of dredging up those hidden demons we might be refusing to recognize. And his work with horses illustrates how communication, compassion, and leadership rather than dominance, excels with horses and humans alike. Joe has found that trust and relationship should come before anything and lifestyle and diet are key to eliminating stress and building immune systems. His PowerPoint presentation has changed the lives of thousands of horses for the better.
Dare to Dream
Joe Camp is from the wrong place, with the wrong education, the wrong philosophy, and the wrong product. He was rejected by every studio in Hollywood, more than once, and without any help from those studios, he turned a cute, lovable, floppy-eared notion of a dog into a worldwide phenomenon that is known and loved all around the globe. And today, the message he’s spreading to people all across the country is that if this improperly educated, small-time advertising guy from the sticks can do it with his dream, anyone can do it. His motivational talk Dare to Dream has been given to families, churches, corporations, college students, civic and philanthropic organizations, pet adoption organizations, and equine groups, inspiring everyone within earshot to reach beyond any conceived perception of his or her limitations. And he spells out the choices that will create success. His talks are an elixir for the human spirit, proof that the unknown, the uncelebrated can still mount that white horse, charge off into the distance and accomplish things worthwhile, against the odds, and leave the world a better place for the effort.
